Technical Support Policy

Email/Phone Support
All hardware products purchased from Orbit Micro are eligible for limited-lifetime email and toll-free technical support. Limited meaning that in some cases we will have to re-direct you to the manufacturer's technical support. However if a product is determined to be defective or damaged unless it is covered by an Orbit Micro warranty or within the 30-day return period, you must contact the manufacturer for a replacement or repair. We will still of course be there to guide and help you facilitate this process.

Depot Repair and Exchange
If a technician determines that your problem is hardware related and is in need of repair or replacement, they will coordinate the repair of your device at our repair facility. The system or product will be sent to our Richardson, TX facility for repair and then returned to you by ground.

To reduce downtime for minor problems, Orbit Micro can send replacement components to you, so you can replace the defective component your self without having to wait for your system or product to be repaired at our facility.

System Support And Onsite Service
Customers who purchase Orbit Micro systems are eligible for advanced lifetime email and 24/7 toll-free technical support from Orbit Micro. Advanced support means that you get experienced technicians to help solve your problem quickly and efficiently. You will be in touch with technicians that have extensive knowledge and experience on your systems and will be able to give you the highest level of support available.

Orbit Micro onsite support is available to customers who require rapid response and resolution for critical issues. Qualified and experienced technicians will be deployed to immediately to quickly restore operations.

Orbit Micro system level software support is offered for factory installed Windows based operating systems, but may involve reverting your operating system back to it's factory installed state. We offer limited Linux based operating system support and may involve reverting your operating system back to it's factory installed state. For more in depth support please refer to your Red Hat support subscription or directly from the distributions main website. We are not responsible for any third party software support, but we will certainly try our best to help support your need or get you in contact with the right people.

Orbit Micro and/or the third-party service provider may at their discretion, revise their general and optional service and support programs and the terms and conditions that govern them without prior notice to you. Orbit Micro has no obligation to provide service or support until Orbit Micro has received full payment for the Product or service/support contract you purchased. Orbit Micro is not obligated to provide service or support you purchase through a third party and not Orbit Micro.
