The NISE 1000 is a fanless, high performance, low power consumption small form factor system designed for rugged industrial applications that require a flexible I/O configuration.

Designed to offer the maximum amount of computing power in the most efficient footprint possible, the NISE 1000 features the Pentium M processor; borrowed from the notebook industry, for its low power consumption high performance capability.  It also features a comprehensive list of I/O options including, 4x RS-232 ports, 2x RS-232/422/485 ports, 1x Gigabit Ethernet port, 4x USB ports, 24-channel digital input, and 24-channel digital output.  You can have dual independent or simulataneous displays using the VGA and LVDS interfaces.  The NISE 1000 is equipped with one PCI slot for your expansion needs.  The 24VDC input allows it to be powered from many readily available DC power sources. But it can also be powered by an AC outlet with the AC/DC power adapter that is also included.

The vast I/O options that the NISE 1000 has as well as the long product life cucle make this system ideal for many industrial applications, especially machine control apps such as gate control, access control, heavy construction vehicles such as bulldozers, and information communication.
