The DT-TB offers solid state, optical trackball technology, in a completely sealed and waterproof enclosure. Featuring NEMA 4X protection, the DT-TB’s 38mm trackball sits inside polycarbonate housing within a stainless steel case. The trackball is easily removable for convenient cleaning, while an adjustable tension ring ensures the proper amount of trackball smoothness for any user. In addition, the DT-TB features sealed, stainless steel switches, including a programmable button. The DT-TB is ESD-safe, and available with the choice of either PS/2 or USB cables.

The DT-TB features NEMA 4, 4X ratings. NEMA rated type 4 products are meant to be used in indoor or outdoor applications, and must provide protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, hose-directed water, and must be undamaged by the formation of ice on the enclosure. NEMA rated type 4X products provide all the protection of NEMA 4 with the additiona of protection against corrosion.
