PEX1-MINI is a PCI EXPRESS X1 to PCI Express Mini interface adapter. It features power indicating LEDs, LAN activity LEDs and external power input connections. By changing the position of the power jumpers, it allows powers from the motherboard or external sources to power the PCI EXPRESS Mini card. Therefore, voltage margins can be performed through external power sources and current measurements can be performed by removing the jumpers and bridged the pins with an ammeter. Precision current measurement can also be performed by replacing the zero ohm resistors with Current Sensing Resistors. The dimension of the extender is 2.95" L x 2.13" H (not including the PCI bracket).
