EEERXB16 is a three slot PCI Express X16 right angle riser card designed for a 2U rackmount chassis. It can support up to three independent PCI Express X16 buses. The main riser board is designed to plug into the 6th slot on the motherboard.

The middle PE-X16 connector connects directly to the riser's gold finger. The top and the bottom PE connectors are connected to two other PE buses on the motherboard via two flexible cables. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. The bottom connector sits on a add-on PCB, which protrude about 0.062" toward the B side.

This riser is designed for chassis with three horizontal cutouts that line up with the typical slot 6 position of the motherboard. Any of the PE connectors on the riser can be configured to X1, X4, X8 or X16. The connector centers are 1.08", 1.88" and 2.68" height. The cables can be ordered in various lengths, depending on the location of the PE slots on the motherboard.

The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.91"H x 7.10"W. All height dimensions are referenced to the bottom of the board.

-XYZ identifies the bus sizes of the three connector, counting from top to bottom. The X, Y and Z can be x, 8, 4 or 1, which means X16, X8, X4, X1 . For example, -x81 means a PE-X16 at the top, a PE-X8 connector at the middle and a PE-X1 connector at the bottom positions.

-ABC identifies the Goldfinger selection for the PCI-E connectors. The A, B and C can be 0, 8, 4 or 1 which means X16, X8, X4, X1. For example, -081 means a X16 cable for the top slot, An X8 Goldfinger on the card itself, And an X1 cable for the bottom slot.

-N/W means the cable lengths associated with the riser. The W reflects the cable length of the slot attached to the top PE connector, in inches. The N reflects the cable length of the paddle board attached to the bottom connector, in inches. For example -1/2 means 2" top cable and 1" bottom cable.
