EPPRX16 is a PCI Express/PCI/PCI, 3 in 1 right angle riser designed for a 2U rackmount chassis. It plugs into a PCI Express X16 slot.

The top PCI Express X16 connector connects directly to the gold fingers. The bottom connector is connected to a PCI slot on the motherboard via a wide cable. The middle connector has most of its signals connected to the bottom connector, except some dedicated signals that are connected to another PCI slot on the motherboard via a narrow cable. User can order the riser with PCI Express X1, X4, X8 or X16 and PCI-32 or PCI-64 connectors. All connectors are mounted on the B-side of the riser card. This riser is designed for chassis with horizontal cutouts that line up with a PCI Express X16 slot on the motherboard.

The top PCI Express connector is located at 2.68", the middle PCI connector is located at 1.88", and the bottom PCI connector is located at 1.08" height. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.91"H x 7.10"W. All height dimensions are referenced to the bottom of the board. The wide and narrow cables can be ordered in various lengths, depending on the location of the PCI slots on the motherboard. The two PCI slots on the motherboards that are used for the connection must be controlled by the same channel of a PCI bridge controller on the motherboard.

A power option (-W) is available to provide more 12V, 5V and 3.3V to the connectors on the riser. It accepts the power from a 4 pin PC power connector for the floppy drive.
