The PCITX4-1 is a 32-bit right angle PCI riser card that can turn in either direction. It is designed for a short chassis, such as the 2U chassis. The overall dimension of the PCITX4-1 is 3.54"L X 1.28"H, the connector center height is 1.030".

The height of the PCITX4-1 is designed to fit under the PCITX4-2 , so that two PCI I/O boards can be inserted in parallel with the motherboard in the same direction. When user's I/O board is inserted on A side, it will be parallel to the motherboard with component side up. When user's I/O board is inserted on Bside, it will be parallel to the motherboard with component side down.

Orientation for this riser card is interchangeable, for example if the user purchases a B-side 5-volt riser card (B5), the same riser card can also be used as an A-side 3.3V riser card (A3). This is achieved simply by turning the riser card around and plugging into the PCI slot facing the other direction.
